- What exactly is the 50% taken from?
- Everything PaidTier earns from your referral. If they are on Pro selling $3,000 a month, we make $120 in commission plus their $49 subscription — $169 — and you get 50% of that, every month.
- What if they are on the Free plan?
- You still earn. There is no subscription to share, but Free carries our highest commission at 10% of sales, so an active free creator can be worth more to you than a quiet paid one.
- What happens after 12 months?
- Payouts on that referral stop, but they were paid for the full 12 months regardless of what the creator does afterwards. Each new referral starts its own 12-month clock.
- Do refunds and chargebacks affect me?
- Yes. If a sale is refunded we lose our commission on it, so your share of that sale is reversed too. It is deducted from your next payout rather than invoiced back to you.
- Can I refer myself, or my own second account?
- No. Self-referrals and accounts you control are excluded, and we will reverse payouts on them. Referring a client whose account you manage is fine.
- Do I need to be a PaidTier customer?
- No. Anyone can join the programme — you do not need to sell courses yourself to refer people who do.
